Started bidding on car which it said was a pure bid. When it came time to put vehicle on the auction block it became a minimum bid car.

If they're going to do this then no sense in believing anything else they say about a car. Will probably have to go to IAA-auto auctions to be treated fairly. I recommend this to everyone (at least until they start being fair to their customers). With the fees they charge you would think they would try to take care of their buyers.

The insurance companies should take what ever is bid on the vehicle. Most have salvage titles anyway.

The should only be allowed to put a minimum bid on vehicle with a clean title. If it's really salvage maybe the should sell it to a salvage yard.

Review about: Copart Auto Auction Car Bidding.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Pre-bidding.

I didn't like: Change vehicle from pure bid to minimum bid.

Sometimes they list the cars on-line before the auction. It could have been pure bid and the owner changed their mind right before the sale.

it happens. Is it really that big of a deal they did that before the auction; not really a reason to cry about it.
