Copart Auto Auction - Not as described
I bought two cars through COPART. It's like the tale of two cities.
One worked fine (minor issues, wasn't even described as "Run & Drive", but did). The other car I bought is another story. It was described as "Run & Drive". Got it home, battery was completely shot.
So, I got another battery & got it to turn over. Then it would turn over, but wouldn't start. The fuel pump was out. Replaced the fuel pump, got the brown gas out of the tank (yes brown gas) & got it running.
There's a slim to none chance that it was running in their yard. Buyer beware, things are not as they appear!
