I bought a 06 Mazda 6 through coparts online auction that supposedly had a clear title. When I tried to get it it registered the DMV informed me that the title has a lien against it.

I have been back and fourth with Linda at the OKC office trying to get this resolved and they just keep saying they will send someone to the dealership to get the lean release and nothing happens. The last time I spoke to them they wanted the paperwork back so they could get it signed. That was almost two weeks ago. I bought the car March 5th and here it is 20 days later and I have a car in my driveway that can be repossessed at any time by the lien holder and Copart is holding the paperwork for it.

This was my first transaction with an online auction and I will not do it again.

Buyer beware is all I can say. They listed this car with a clean title and it's anything but clean.
